The Scuola Normale Superiore offers fully-funded PhD programs to both Italian citizens and students from outside Italy.
Scholarships are available for PhD Programs in the following fields: Classics, Data Science, Mathematics, Methods and Models for Molecular Sciences, Nanosciences, Neurosciences, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science and Sociology and Transnational Governance. Over 60 awards are available.
All PhD programs are open to both Italian citizens and students from outside Italy.
All students admitted to the doctoral programmes receive scholarships, which include tuition fees and a grant for board and accommodation. All students will be entitled to additional funding for their research activity, even abroad.
The following candidates, regardless of their citizenship, can apply:
- • those who have obtained a master’s degree in Italy or an equivalent qualification in a non-Italian university by October 31, 2019;
- • those who were born after October 31, 1989.
Applications for admission to the selection process must be registered online by 23:59 CET of 28 February 2019 (Spring session) and 29 August 2019 (Autumn session).
