    Job TitleGraphic Designer

    The Graphic Designer is responsible for the design of visual materials that enhance Jhpiego’s global brand. As a member of the Global Engagement & Communications Department (GECO), the Graphic Designer is a member of the Publications team and reports to the Sr. Manager.  In general, the graphic designer will collaborate with GECO team members, as well as other Jhpiego departments, to produce, re-purpose, and enhance online and print materials, including technical posters, training packages, reports, manuals, information sheets, proposals, presentations, illustrations, graphics, and high-priority materials for internal and external stakeholders.

    Sr. Director, New Program Development

    Sr. Director needed to work with a team of new program development specialists and professionals from across the organization in a dynamic, fast-paced office, charged with raising resources for the design and implementation of innovative, effective and low-cost health care solutions to break down barriers to high-quality health care for the world’s most vulnerable populations. The successful candidate will have a background in global health and possess substantive, recent field experience with proven strategy development and innovative program design and proposal skills, particularly with US government and other international donor agencies.  She/he will possess strong self-confidence, assertiveness, persistence and creativity. Along with the NPD Vice President and other key stakeholders, the Senior Director will be responsible for developing and executing Jhpiego’s NPD strategy to achieve key measures of success within the Jhpiego strategic plan.   She/he will play a lead role in energizing and re-engineering new program development approaches, particularly across the operations of leads identification and development, proposal preparation and transition to implementation.

    Job TitleSr. Finance Manager – East Africa

      Sr. Finance Manager will provide leadership in overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of Jhpiego’s global programs finance unit, including leads and proposals, start-up, implementation and control, monitoring and evaluation, close-out and cross-cutting GPO functions. The Sr. Finance Manager is part of the Global Programs Finance Unit Management Team working closely with the Director of the Global Programs Finance Unit, Program Staff, and Jhpiego’s Country offices to ensure accurate financial, contractual and administrative reporting to the management team and to agencies external to Jhpiego. This includes ensuring financial systems and reports are compatible with standard Jhpiego accounting practices and follow donor rules and regulations.

    Sr. Finance Manager – West Africa

This includes ensuring financial systems and reports are compatible with standard Jhpiego accounting practices and follow donor rules and regulations.   Sr. Finance Manager provides financial guidance to the GPO Management Team, Jhpiego’s Program Managers, Country Directors, and agencies external to Jhpiego, particularly partner organizations.




    Quality Improvement Assistant – Cape Town

    VMMC Quality Improvement Assistant needed to provide technical support, clinical mentoring, and perform quality assurance for all CDC/PEPFAR-funded VMMC services in Cape Town.
    The Health Finance and Governance Officer will provide technical leadership for an upcoming U.S. government-funded integrated health system project. The project aims to improve the capacity of the public health system to sustainably deliver quality reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health and nutrition services (RMNCAH&N) across four provinces of Zambia. The project will operate over a five-year period. The Health Finance and Governance Officer will provide technical assistance to ensure that national and provincial policies and procedures for financial and performance management are efficiently operationalized at provincial and district levels of the health system. S/he will work in close coordination and maintain good working relationship with Provincial and District Health Offices, implementing partners, health facility, and community stakeholders in the district.   This position is contingent upon award from USAID.     Partnerships Manager

    The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for developing and overseeing partnerships and sub-grants with a range of stakeholders, including the private sector, other donors, academia, civil society organizations and faith based-organizations, for the anticipated USAID-funded Improved Health and Nutrition project in Guatemala. The anticipated project aims to achieve significant and sustainable improvements in nutrition and health outcomes of target select municipalities of the Western Highlands which will result in reductions of stunted children, and maternal and child morbidity and mortality, and keeping low the prevalence of anemia and micronutrient deficiencies. This will occur as the result of improving service delivery and strengthening health systems, especially of human resources for health (HRH) in Guatemala.
